Clinical depression (also called major depressive disorder), is a state of intense sadness, melancholia or despair that has advanced to the point of being disruptive to an individual's social functioning and/or activities of daily living. Although a low mood or state of dejection that does not affect functioning is often colloquially referred to as depression, clinical depression is a clinical diagnosis and may be different from the everyday meaning of "being depressed." Many people identify the feeling of being depressed as "feeling sad for no reason", or "having no motivation to do anything".
One suffering from depression may feel tired, sad, irritable, lazy, unmotivated, and apathetic. Clinical depression is generally acknowledged to be more serious than normal depressed feelings. It often leads to constant negative thinking and sometimes substance abuse.
It is sufficient to have either of these symptoms in conjunction with five of a list of other symptoms over a two-week period. These include:
| |
Feelings of overwhelming sadness and/or fear, or the seeming inability to feel emotion (emptiness).
A decrease in the amount of interest or pleasure in all, or almost all, daily activities.
Changing appetite and marked weight gain or loss.
Disturbed sleep patterns, such as insomnia, loss of REM sleep, or excessive sleep (Hypersomnia).
Psychomotor agitation or retardation nearly every day.
Fatigue, mental or physical, also loss of energy.
Intense feelings of guilt, nervousness, helplessness, hopelessness, worthlessness, isolation/loneliness and/or anxiety.
Trouble concentrating, keeping focus or making decisions or a generalized slowing and obtunding of cognition, including memory.
Recurrent thoughts of death (not just fear of dying), desire to just "lie down and die" or "stop breathing", recurrent suicidal ideation without a specific plan, or a suicide attempt or a specific plan for committing suicide.
Feeling and/or fear of being abandoned by those close to one. |

Treatment
Subliminal Therapy's An End to Depression can help get your life up and running again. Specially designed for depression our staff worked for three years perfecting this hypnosis product. Our Supreme Self Confidence and Stop Procrastination Now are also recommended to jump start your recovery.
Subliminal Therapy is a psychological process in which critical thinking faculties of the mind are bypassed and a type of selective thinking and perception is established in the patient. We recommend our subliminal hypnosis sessions be used when you are falling asleep or meditating. It is in these times when you will receive maximum benefits as the subconscious mind is open to suggestion. |

I was experiencing the worst time of my life, luckily I bought “An End to Depression”. I'm not sure if it's the brain wave therapy that gets me or the subliminal suggestions, but I did get better. I still listen to it from time to time when I'm struggling. The major difference that I can feel is that bad thoughts don't stay in my head, and somehow they are blocked quickly so I just leave them alone and not keep thinking about them over and over (which is quite common for people with stress/depression problems). I've spent a bunch of money on stuff like this, and I’m glad I finally found one that works.

I've suffered with self esteem problems most of my life, so it was time to take a chance. I couldn't be more delighted with the dramatic results I've gotten just from using “Supreme Self Confidence” a few times. My performance at work has improved, my love life is better (my boyfriend says that I have just blossomed!) and I seem to be taking center stage amongst my friends - which is something I've never experienced before. My whole life, I've kind-of hung back in the shadows and envied those in the spotlight. Now I know what it feels like to be the STAR!...and I can't believe I've wasted so much time. Your CD has changed my life and I am so very grateful!

I cannot thank you enough for your CD “Self Confidence Now”. Since I started listening to it, only about 3 weeks ago, I sleep better, feel more confident, don't get so stressed out during the day and have become far less emotional. I have yet to make it all the way to the end, usually I’m sleeping by 15 minutes in. I now have five Subliminal Therapy CDs I can always count on. These CDs have had a bigger impact on my life than just about anything, including medication and therapy.
