Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) (formerly ADD) is considered to be a developmental disorder, largely neurological in nature effecting 5 percent of the population. The disorder is characterized by a persistent pattern of inattention or hyperactivity and impulsivity. ADHD initially appears in childhood and manifests itself with symptoms such as hyperactivity, poor impulse control, forgetfulness, and distractibility.
ADHD is most commonly diagnosed in children and, however, over the past decade ADHD has been increasingly diagnosed in the adult population. It is believed that around 60-65 percent of children diagnosed with ADHD retain the disorder as adults.
According to a majority of medical research, ADHD is today generally regarded to be a non-curable illness for which, however, some effective treatments are available. Methods of treatment usually involve some combination of medication, behavior therapy, and life style changes. Some patients are able to control their symptoms with the use of natural treatments such as hypnotherapy.
Causes
Studies show that there is a familial transmission of the disorder which does not occur through adoptive relationships. Twin studies indicate that the disorder is highly heritable and that genetics contribute about three quarters of the total ADHD population. While the majority of ADHD is believed to be inhereted, some cases are thought to be acquired after conception due to brain injury caused by either toxins or trauma prenatally or after birth. According to a majority of medical research in the United States, as well as other countries, ADHD is today generally regarded as a chronic disorder for which there are some effective treatments.

Treatment
Subliminal Therapy's Complete Relaxation can help slow down the mind to manageable levels. Deep Sleep - Sleep Aid is often beneficial and can help those who have a hard time falling and staying asleep. We also recommend Anti-Anxiety which is common among sufferers of ADHD.
Subliminal Therapy is a psychological process in which critical thinking faculties of the mind are bypassed and a type of selective thinking and perception is established in the patient. We recommend our subliminal hypnosis sessions be used when you are falling asleep or meditating. It is in these times when you will receive maximum benefits as the subconscious mind is open to suggestion.

I was not sure what to expect when I ordered your CD “Complete Relaxation”. I was pleased with what I received. It took a time or two of listening to it to understand, trust and use it correctly. The greatest benefit is how quickly I can relax, clear my head and rest. I never fail to completely relax and emerge as if I have had a 2 hour nap. I have gotten rid of several afternoon tension headaches using this CD.

I couldn't wait to get “Complete Relaxation” because a friend of mine recommended it to me. I got mine and was very pleased with my purchase. The music is great and very relaxing. It makes it easy for me to get into a relaxed state immediately. I also find that it helps me fall asleep at night and get up in the morning. I have listened to many self help CDs over the years and it is my opinion that yours is one of the best out there.

After 75 mg of benadryl a night, many cups of relaxing tea, multiple hypnosis and rain forest cds, I decided to your subliminal products. Once I started listening to the CD I almost never hear the end of the it! I loop it on my cd player with "Deep Sleep – Sleep Aid" all night. I am sleeping so much better.

I didn't expect much from your CD, but it arrived yesterday and I gave it a try right away. Wow! I am very impressed. I've had considerable experience with hypnosis and self help over the years, and your CDs are the best I've stumbled across. I'm extremely happy I found this wonderful site and I hope you record several more.

I found your CDs really reached me in ways others have not. I felt totally immersed in peace and serenity and successfully quieted stomach cramps, tension headaches and the stress associated with a very intense work situation. My husband was surprised as well (we listen at night with the CD player on repeat), which is funny because he laughed when I told him about the purchase. He now recommends it to all of the people he works with.
